A Bit About Dana

Dana has over 15 years of experience leading programs and projects, including extensive work within the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Her role within the organization is to lead the staff’s daily efforts in partnering with public and private entities as they create accessible spaces to make life more enjoyable for individuals with disabilities. She has experience consulting with state and local governments, as well as private businesses to come into compliance with the ADA.

In past roles, Dana has operated federal, state, and discretionary grants related to the ADA and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). She has planned and implemented business development, financial oversight, and grant programming. She has experience working with national media, as well as community partners to provide educations and training opportunities around a variety of topics. 

In 2019, Dana was named a “Woman of Influence” by the Colorado Springs Business Journal and in 2014, she was recognized as a “Rising Star” by the same publication. In addition, in 2014, Dana received the “Young Professional of the Year” award from the Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce.
