A Bit About Mary Jean

Mary Jean is a licensed architect and ICC-Certified Accessibility Inspector and Plans Examiner with over twenty-six (26) years’ experience, including seven (7) years in accessibility consulting. As an accessibility specialist, she performs design and site reviews of multi-family developments and commercial projects for compliance with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), Federal Fair Housing Amendments Act (FHA), Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (UFAS), ICC/ANSI A117.1 and state/local requirements. This includes reviewing the construction documents for compliance and performing site visits to identify areas of non-conformance. 

She also performs building envelope reviews and observations for owners, developers, architects, and contractors. 

Mary Jean has presented to numerous architectural firms and contractors on the technical requirements of ADA and FHA.

Mary Jean holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado-Boulder and is a licensed Architect in the States of Colorado and Texas.
