A Bit About Kevin
Kevin Grace is the co-owner and Director of Accessibility for building ONE Consulting. He is a licensed architect, and an Accessibility Professional Association Certified, Built Environment (APAC-BE) professional. With more than 20 years of experience spanning accessibility consulting, architecture, and construction, Kevin is passionate about creating inclusive, code-compliant environments that improve the built experience for everyone.
Throughout his career, Kevin has led projects across the United States within a wide range of sectors, including commercial, hospitality, multifamily, and single-family residential developments. His deep expertise in building codes, accessibility standards, and regulatory compliance enables him to help clients navigate complex design challenges while delivering practical, innovative solutions. His extensive experience with renovation and adaptive reuse projects has also given him a unique ability to identify creative solutions when unforeseen conditions arise.
Kevin's background extends beyond design. As a former Quality Control Manager for a design-build firm, he oversaw construction quality and compliance, ensuring projects were executed in accordance with construction documents while proactively minimizing risk throughout the construction process. This combination of architectural and construction experience provides clients with a comprehensive perspective from concept through completion.
Kevin earned his NAAB-accredited Bachelor of Architecture from Kansas State University and further expanded his craftsmanship through postgraduate studies in Fine Woodworking at Red Rocks Community College. As Co-Owner, he combines technical expertise, practical construction knowledge, and a client-focused approach to help deliver accessible, high-performing spaces that stand the test of time.
